Indigenous Path
IHDCYH is committed to supporting an Indigenous Path in all our activities. We do this through four key actions:
- Prioritize funding for Indigenous-led research
- Ensure Indigenous engagement in IHDCYH governance
- Build and sustain purposeful partnerships with Indigenous researchers, communities and organizations
- Increase capacity in our community for Indigenous-led research
Our goal is to ensure that Institute activities reflect respectful engagement and opportunities for Indigenous health research.
